Creation
Ahk-Orrd was created by Peter David and Jim Calafiore. His first appearance was in Aquaman #17 (February 1996).
Major Story Arcs
Aquaman v3
Ahk-Orrd and the Hunter / Gatherers return to Earth after centuries in an attempt to take over, by presenting themeselves as benevolent aliens.
Aquaman thwarts their plans at the last moment by tricking them into revealing their true intentions to the world and forcing them to retreat.
Powers and Abilities
Ahk-Orrd possesses a number of powers, although it's unknown if those powers are common to his people or specific to him.
Enhanced Durability
Ahk-Orrd similar to the rest of his people has enhanced durability and can survive the pressures of the deep.
Underwater Adaptation
He and the rest of the Hunter / Gatherers can function normally underwater and is able to withstand the high pressures and extreme temperatures of the deep, like Earth 1 Atlanteans.
Longevity
He is extremely long lived and possibly immortal.
Teleportation
He has the ability to teleport.
Healing
He can heal others by simply touching them. He cured a human from his blindness instantly by touching him.
Leadership
He is the leader of an entire alien race that has succesfully enslaved entire civilizations.
Intellect
He is a brilliant strategist and an exceptional diplomat.
Weaponry & Equipment
Hunter / Gatherer army
He has the entire Hunter / Gatherer army at his disposal, including huge numbers of soldiers and alien weapons and vehicles.
