Sir Agravain or Sir Agravaine is a knight of the Round Table, a character from the stories of King Arthur. Being the second son of King Lot of Orkney, is the nephew of Arthur, brother of Gawain, Gaheris, Gareth, and Mordred.
The image of Agravain is a warrior competent, but short of the glory of his brothers Gawain and Gareth, and has a malicious reputation. In most versions of the Arthurian legend, reveals Agravain adulterous romance between Lancelot and Queen Guinevere, triggering war between Lancelot and King Arthur, which would lead to the downfall of the kingdom of Logres.
