    Following an incident where rogue S.H.I.E.L.D. agents made contact with Skye, Hunter and Coulson travel to the safe house, but Skye flees to a mountain retreat with the help of Gordon, an "Inhuman" like her.

    Another Strong Episode Focused On Building 0

    "Afterlife" is another strong episode of the second season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. that focuses on building long-running story arcs, and as such doesn't make for a great stand alone story. The "Afterlife" in question refers to the paradise-like place where Skye has been taken where Jiaying, Gordon, Lincoln, and others say she can learn to use her powers. But there definitely seems to be a dark side to Afterlife. Her father Cal is there, as is Raina. And there are hints at jealousies ...
