Fantastic. A must-read for old and new fans alike.

Afterlife with Archie, must be the biggest thing to come out of Archie Comics, ever since the big event that was Archie: The Married Life. While the latter still has its merits and nonetheless continues to uphold an interesting storyline concerning the Riverdale kids in the real world, Aguirre-Sacasa's Afterlife, present a much more gripping story that takes a lot of the convention Archie story elements away without making them feel strange. The third issue sets up an interesting situation; with two more from the gang out of the picture, Archie embarking on his own side mission of some sort, and Riverdale going just total apeshit, there are a lot of situations in need of explaining, and fates to be discovered. Francavilla's art compliments the whole story beautifully. Archie's orange hair is as orange as it can be, and the blue and orange overtones all-over just makes the whole book doubly amazing. Just read it. It's good. Real good.
