As a Quote, un-quote "Adult" I am always pleasantly surprised how consistently Lumping good this show and comic-series is. I have been really enjoying the Adventure Time Comics - especially the tid-bits that can only be enjoyed by adults. When I heard that Marceline the Vampire Queen (My fav character) was getting her own mini-series, I did a little dance. And I have NOT been disappointed.
Here we get a team up of Quasi-Frenemies Marceline and Princess Bubblegum, who we have learned from the episode, "What was missing" have a very complicated relationship. Marceline and her Scream Queens are going on tour and Bubblegum joins as Band manager. Its a great start to a wonderful mini-series. The art, writing and story as always are fantastic. The only little thing missing are the tiny little comments that are usually in the margins of the regular series.
There is also a back-up, that as most back-ups in the series do, tugs at your heart strings and gives a little back ground info into Marceline's humane side.
If you have not watched this show, you are missing out. If you have not read these comics, you are missing out, if you have not picked up this issue ... you get the point.
