When the predators become the prey

This issue vacillates a bit with the ever-present problem with this series - relying too much on game mechanics and thus  ruining the plot.  That having been said by this point in the series I am starting to get the grasp of some of the basic rules of the game, but it still offers a bit of confusion where there need not be any.  For instance, I have never heard of a were-rat before, and I see no reason why such a thing can't exist, at the same time though it seems like a werewolf would be less confusing.  Anyway the plot here is held together fairly decently with the heroes lost (so lost they are in another dimension) and Conner finally off to save them and face Vajra.  The villains reveal themselves as well which I thought was well handled.  Overall, this is pretty much average for this series, a decent entertaining story but not much more than that.
