    Based on the TSR role playing game - "The Gathering!" Part 1 of 4. An ancient evil rises and once again threatens the Realms. Only a motley band of adventures can stop it now. A surly dwarf warrior and his benevolent centaur companion, a gladiator who survived the Manshaka Arena of Blood, a fallen paladin, and a timid half-elf must somehow find a way to work together if the Realms are going to survive the coming darkness.

    It is interesting in the wake of DC's decision to incorporate all titles into the mainstream DC universe, that there was a time when it was quite common to have titles completely outside of the continuity.  At DC for instance in the 1980s Star Trek was a long running series which had nothing to do with superheroes.  Another such series was this one, Advanced Dungeons and Dragons.  Of course with such a title it is obviously based on the role playing game, but I was curious to see how this would ...
