    Collects issues 1-8 of the Adam Strange mini-series.

    Heroic adventurer Adam Strange was ready to abandon Earth and join his wife and daughter on his adopted homeworld of Rann forever, but the newly perfected Zeta-Beam that was to transport him there never came. Now he's trapped on Earth, desperate with worry that something terrible may have happened to his world and his family.

    But the truth is far worse than even his darkest imaginings. Something terrible is coming. And an ordinary Earthman may be the only thing that stands in the way of universal Armageddon!

    Can Andy Diggle steal a world? YES! 0

    Adam Strange may just be one of the most overlooked characters in the DCU.  I am glad he got love in Wednesday Comics, but besides that and a few mini-series, Adam Strange gets no love.  Andy Diggle made huge waves in the Vertigo scene when he came on board with The Losers.  This was a re-imagining of old forgotten DC characters told in a modern style, much like Brian Azzarello and his Jonny Double series.  The Losers started off as a heist story and I guess Andy Diggle likes to write H...
