    Agent Adam Hardy was created by writer Simon Oliver and first drawn by artist Robbi Rodriguez as the main protagonist of the series FBP: Federal Bureau of Physics (previously called Collider).

    In a Vertigo news column, writer Oliver describes the premise behind the character Agent Adam Hardy;

    "He's still coming to terms with the death of the scientist father he never met, when new evidence comes to light suggesting someone was set to profit from his Dad's stolen research papers."
