Plot Summary

Overview

Part 4 of the landmark "Last Son" story, by Geoff Johns, Richard Donner and Adam Kubert! Superman travels to a place so alien and strange, it could only be presented in a special 3-D section, featuring 3-D effects by Ray Zone! That's right, the action in ACTION takes on a whole new meaning as this benchmark story takes a sharp turn into the third dimension! Plus, meet the all-new Superman Revenge Squad!

Wow. I will be honest. I am not a big big fan of Superman in his own comics. Usually he is very boring and the art sucks. This time I am pleasantly surprised. This is the first part of "First Son" I have picked up...now I need to buy the rest because it is good.

Adam Kubert...wow...what art! And Johns is up there with Bendis for me as great writers.

I look forward to the conclusion where Supes joins the new Superman Revenge Squad. I also thought that Luthor was well done here and that Zod is a bastard on sooo many levels...child abuser!
