    The Story:

First his own action figure, then his own Christmas special – now GREEN LANTERN's Larfleeze wants to take over ACTION COMICS?! Not if Lex Luthor has anything to say about it! Tune in for the rematch that's been brewing ever since Lex tried to steal Larfleeze's Orange Lantern back in BLACKEST NIGHT!

    The Review:
Action Comics has been on a long roll of great issues.  Paul Cornell took over the book making Lex Luthor its lead character and all the rest is history.  One long over arching story line that has proven it has legs.  Issue after issue has been filled with quality material from both the writer and the artists.  Pete Woods has really shined in a way that he never did on WONK.  The book has leapt to the top of my reading pile for the weeks it comes out.  This issue does not let me down.  Larfleeze drops by for some Orange Lantern "wants".  Lex proves once again why he is the best Villain in the DCU.  However, Cornell ends the issue with a nice twist!  I cannot wait for next month's issue!

Pete Woods and crew do a great job on the art.  The look is clean and it works well with his panel choices.  Nothing out of the box but it is a perfect complement to the writing.

The issue earns 4.5 out of 5 from me this month.  I strongly recommend this book to any and all.  Don't wait for the trade go out and find the back issues you won't regret it!

At the near end of Luthor’s quest within Action Comics and this time Cornell takes us to an overdue rematch between both Lex Luthor and Orange Lantern Larfleeze. If you missed how these two villains managed to come at each other’s throats, well it all started at the very end of Blackest Night where Luthor was selected as an Orange Lantern. Larfleeze, who’s the selfish kind just couldn’t share that power and that’s exactly how these two first went at it. With Luthor de-powered and Larfleeze cont...
