The Good: Rags Morales art continues to be an absolutely perfect match for this series. I can never figure out just what it is, but it's always a perfect fit, carefully chosen panels and smooth overall quality. And the pacing is spectacular. The climax of this arc is a wild knockdown brawl. It's a wealth of action in Action Comics, and it is just awesome. Superman is proving why he's Superman. Fighting his hardest in a bare knuckle brawl with a mighy machine. I can see the Superman I know shinin...
The Story: Brainiac takes over John Corben and begins searching for Superman who meets the challenge head on and is eventually aided by Steel. My Thoughts:Action Comics lives up to its name here in this issue. This re-imagining of Superman's origins has been a lot of fun as Grant Morrison has taken Superman's character in many unexpected directions that have so far paid off.
