He’s spent the last few issues of his run on Action Comics giving us origins for the villains in the Anti-Superman Army from issues #5 and 6. With this issue he tells the tale of a Superman nemesis linked to the Phantom Zone which keeps the worst Kryptonian criminals trapped in a wraith-like state.     This has been a good series and had a brilliant start. I just feel that it has had too many one-shot issues and needs to focus on more story arcs. Although I say that and the fact this is a one-shot issue I don't mind when like this issue it is amazing. I have really liked Morrison's work over the years and I am sure I will remember this run fondly even if it's not at the top of my favourite Grant Morrison series' list.     Story--It's Halloween in the Fortress of Solitude, and one of the Phantom Zone's prisoners is Haunting Kal-ElGood--This is my favorite Superman comic of the new 52, the art is haunting and Grant Morrison's story-telling is still wonderful-We see more "skeletons in the closet" of Jor-El, so to speak, which is cool, and it's not as past-oriented as Superman #0, and we learn more about the Phantom Zone, how it works and it's history, which only means Zod is right around the corner somewhere.-A new ...

    This cover just doesn't grab me. Most people know by now I have a furious hatred of banners, and overall Superman just looks too big. It's a little generic, and the soft colors in the background aren't very eye catching.     This issue is all about revenge and having superman sent to the phantom zone but it ends as a touching issue. If you love Krypto and even if you hate him I guaranteed you after reading this issue you will love him. To be honest I didn't really know much about Krypto but ever since I read this issue that's all I can ever think about. It makes me love my dog so much more. You will see a dog waiting for his master forever and being loyal to him....
