    Action Comics is definitely a mixed bag. There is always some fun dialog and interesting ideas but in the end the question what the point of it all is, remains. In this issue again it feels like too much with too little real explanation or connection.The terribly old-fashioned announcements that DC still juses on its covers don't help at all. "The shocking revelation behind his new secret identity" sounds fairly overdramatic but reading the conversation between Superman and Batman redefines the ...

    Disguises 1

    So, the stupid banner doesn't really affect this cover all that much, it actually kind of blends in nicely, but I'm far too set in my anti-banner ways to truly forgive it. The overall design is a little too simplistic, but the fire looks cool, and the tattered remains of the identity 'Clark Kent' fraying off of Superman look pretty cool, and are kind of a nice touch.So last issue, I really enjoyed the idea of Superman faking Clark Kent's death, I thought it had some extremely intriguing potentia...
