Short, But Tastes Sweet... Or Is That Blood?
I must say, for essentially my first exposure to Hellboy, this was a pretty good start.
The story is well done, and finishes nicely, to say the least. I felt like I wasn't jipped out of a well constructed story, even though it's as short as it is. There's also some comedy injected into this, courtesy of Hellboy himself making a brief appearance. But this show is still very much Abe's and it shows. I honestly found him a bit more interesting than his counterparts, and certainly more fascinating than the somewhat dull film iteration.
There isn't much more than can be said about this. Again, the only problem I have is I wish we could have seen more. Guess I'll have to go out and pick up some Hellboy sometime.
