A new family
Someone pointed out to me recently that the sales for Wonder Woman have been steadily declining ever since its entry into the new 52. In a sense I have a hard time understanding this as she is undoubtedly my favourite character, but I do understand how she might have started strong and dropped off. I can see why this might be as the first part of the series had revelation after revelation, but now the series seems to have descended into a groove of the usual without adding in too much of the sensational. The story here continues on from the previous story and leads for the time being nowhere as Wonder Woman hits mostly a dead end here after talking with her sister. The New Gods are also shown, but they are used better here than usual. In short then, this is an above average Wonder Woman story, but it is still a Wonder Woman story which is why people are probably starting to stay away, which is a shame because now that it is not focusing on the other stuff the quality of the series is picking up somewhat.
