Selene

History

Selene's origin is yet unrevealed, but she is known to have lived for several millennia, and to have been a foe of the ancient sorcerer Kulan Gath.

Kulan Gath

In recent years Selene married Marcus Domitius Gallio, a senator of Nova Roma who plotted to abolish its republican government. The intervention of the New Mutants both thwarted Senator Gallio's schemes and led to Selene's apparent destruction. However, Selene not only survived, but somehow found herself able to leave Nova Roma. She soon traveled to New York City. Over the two millennia that she was trapped in Nova Roma, a religious cult worshiping Selene as a goddess had continued to survive in the outside world. Selene made contact with a leader of the cult, Friedrich Von Roehm, in New York City. Von Roehm was also a member of the Inner Circle of the Hellfire Club, an elite group secretly dedicated to achieving world domination. Von Roehm successfully sponsored Selene for membership in the Inner Circle, and she rapidly rose to the high rank of Black Queen of the Inner Circle.

In the events of M-Day, Selene retained her powers. In Mutant Town, she befriended Wither, and told him that Wallflower is dead. When Wither left, Selene was attacked by the police, but she manage to kill two of them, whereas Wither killed the other policeman that was trying to escape. She later revealed to him that she is an immortal mutant and wishes to be with him.

Powers

   Selene's main power is to drain someone of their life force. She does this y physically touching someone but the draining is psionically. She can drain someone's entire life force by doing this the victim body turns to dust. When Selene uses her powers continuosly she begin to age rapidly. She can heal herself by absorbing someone life force. When Selene drains someone's life force she gains a psychic control over the victim. She can also make someone become a psychic vampire like herself.
   She has super strength, along with enhanced stamina, speed, endurance and reflexes. Selene can run super fast going as fast as Quickilver. But the price of doing this is she age extremly fast when running and must absorb someone's life force to heal.
   Selene has been shown to manipulate darkness and turn into darkness. such as a dark cloud, or showing half her body and the rest dark tendrils. She has telekinesis, which she use to animate inanimate objects. With this she can aslo cause inanimate objects to disintegrate.
   Selene has pyrokinesis, able to project extreme heats and flame. She can control flames and fire, such as to exstinguish them or increasse their heat.
    She has telepathy. She has a natural psychic shield that shields her mind from psychic assualts. She can fire mental bolts. She can hypnotise people. She is immortal.
    Selene has a great healing factor. When stabbed with a knife she didnt even feel the knife and healed as soon as it came out of her. She has been shown to be blown apart and she pulled her body back together.
     Selene is also a great sorcerer.

Alternate Realities

In another reality New York was changed into  medieval times by Ghost Rider. She was released from a black marbel to kill a shop keeper who heard of Spider-Man, who havent been changed by the spell. This was a problem, people will start to see the truth. In this reality Selene is well known throughout scaring the shop keeper just by him looking at her. They also call her the Black Queen. Selene is happy to hear that their are new people who might be working for Kulan Gath. When the Exiles were being attacked by Ghost's rider guards Selene used her powers and made them go through the floor. Selene then gets the talisman back that Ghost Rider used on New York and turns it back to normal. Stating she didnt like those times and liked the new ones better.
