    Plot Summary

    Warning! This section contains spoilers!

Starlord is sitting in a bar on an alien planet chatting up an Alien Woman explaining about his time travelling around the Galaxy, the Woman points out that he is human but Quill says that he is half human and the human half is the good part of him. Spartax guards come in scaring away everyone and taking away the Alien Woman Starlord was Chatting up and Star Lord's father enters. Starlord's father is the king of Spartax and was able to find him using Spartax's resources. Starlord's father then explains that Earth is now off limits and that Starlord should stay away from it and that the most powerful races in the Galaxy the Kree Supreme intelligence, the Shiar, Annihilus, the Spartoi (led by Star Lord's father) and the Brood have all agreed that Earth is off limits. Starlord then gets cross with his father over this decision saying that the Badoon, Thanos and other alien races will attack the Earth because the Earth is off limits. Starlord's father then asks Starlord to become prince of the Spartax empire but Starlord says no and they both get into an arguement but are interrupted by Gamora who is attacking the Spartax guards. Starlord stops her and his father is impressed with being able to control Gamora. Starlord and Gamora then head off to rejoin the Guardians.

Iron Man is flying through space enjoying himself but is interrupted when the Badoon appear and they attack him and he attacks the Badoon. The Guardians of the Galaxy then appear attacking the Badoon, Drax attacks the ship breaching the outside, and Groot breaks through the glass on the ship's bridge and Gamora takes down the Badoon. The Guardians continue to attack the ship but the Badoon give up and blow up the ship but escape in another ship. Groot is caught in the blast as is Iron Man who is knocked out. Rocket Racoon goes looking for Groot and finds a part of him. Drax, Gamora, Iron Man and Starlord make it back to the ship and Gamora explains to Starlord that she thinks Starlord was set up by his father because he was upset about Starlord not becoming the Prince of Spartax so let the Badoon attack the Earth. The Badoon reach Earth and start to attack London.

A Father and Son Moment 0

I was sceptical about this series at first, and I had not much prior knowledge of the series, but the point one issue was brilliant, and I've became real excited for this series, and am glad to be getting it.PlotStar-Lord (Peter Quill) gets a visit from his father, J'son of Spartax, and the Guardians of the Galaxy join up with Iron Man to face the Badoon.ReviewAfter a brilliant origin story for Peter in the point one issue I was expecting a lot from this one, and although it wasn't quite as good...

Go Krutack yourself! (Not trying to be rude!) 0

I was really, really excited for this series ever since it was announced and after the amazing #0.1 issue I was even more excited and I wanted to see where Bendis took the book since this book has been absent from Marvel for a few years now so Bendis has some big shoes to fill, but Bendis with Marvel Now! has produced some great work so I really shouldn’t doubt it that much.PlotStarlord is chatting up a girl on a planet but is interrupted by his father who tries to persuade him to become the he...

    Great science fiction. 0

With this being the first Guardians of the Galaxy book that I have ever read I didn’t know what to expect. What I got was some superhero action mixed in with a heavy dose of science fiction. In this issue Star-Lord’s father is the king of a large area of the galaxy and he says that earth has become off limits to everybody so it has the ability to “grow”. Star-Lord and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy go there and see it being attacked since it is left defenseless. They run into Iron Man t...
