    Doctor Magnus is taken to the island of mad scientists developing weapons for Inter-Gang. Renee and The Question find Isis' brother Amon in Yemen. With the help of Black Adam and Isis they are able to rescue him. He's in a horrible state, so Black Adam gives him powers of the gods, and he takes the name Osiris.

    Every time that I think that this series is going to coalesce and start going in one definite direction, the story takes a turn into some new fertile ground for adventure and imagination.  Although here it is not a huge break with what came before, but it is still some meaningful developments.  The story starts with Doctor Magnus being dropped off on Oolong Island with a bit more clarity of what his fate is meant to be.  In the more gripping part, and in one of the stranger teamups in comics tha...
