Upstage this whole debut
This issue doesn't really have any really gripping moments (well there might be one) but here johns proves why he is one of my favourite writers through a look at the subtle manipulations by Lex, which resemble in a lot of ways how television news or reality shows are created and produced. He has everything down to the finest details of how he wants his new team to be represented. In the other parts of the story Ralph shows why he should not just be consider a funny man, as he completely handles a demon all by himself. Mostly though this issue focuses on Lex and his team and the problems involved with it. It was pretty well handled. The underlying tensions in the whole series are starting to come to the front. The last two pages were pretty good as well.
