    What your problems are

the focus here shifts back to other stories within the greater whole of the series.  There are three basic stories going on here - Black Adam and his consolidation of power, the appearance of Supernova and the investigation by Clark and Booster (though for different reasons) and the ongoing conversation between Professors Magnus and Morrow.  The part in Metropolis was strong enough, but it was too bad in a sense that it took up most of the issue, as the part with Black Adam had a lot stronger character portrayals and the part with the professors was much stronger in plot development.  In the end though this is one of the best so far in the series.  The backup story shows the history of the DC universe between Identity Crisis and Infinite Crisis.
