    When the Guardians of the Universe chose to defend the universe from evil, they divided the universe into 3600 sectors and assigned a Corps of protectors, one individual to each sector. Recently each sector has been assigned 2 protectors. As well, it has been revealed the existence of other Corps.

    Are certain Sectors and/or the Lanterns that patrol them have a symbolic significance? 
     
    Are the sector numbers Symbolic?
