What is an epic? an extended tale of gods and heroes. The word epic and greece go way back. This tale though was actually true, and though not historically accurate, thats what makes it epic. The real battle historically was amazing, but to see frank millers ideas and thoughts of how it went down through his story of it is phenomenal. This isn't a light movie. This is a heavy toned adrenaline filled epic. This is a movie that you are entertained by. Is that not what makes a good movie?
If you haven't seen 300 yet, you should drop what you're doing, got to the Redbox, Best Buy, or whatever it is you do, and go see it. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200.
