There are dystopian future comics, post-apocolyptic comics, and this. instead of one great war, or nukes flying, Jamie Delano imagined an America tearing itself inside out and being refused a quick death. With a first arc that consists of A seventy year old man just trying to get by in the disease riddled future of NYC with William Burroughs-esque slapped in there for a change in tone, this is a comic that is at the very least deserving to have it's entire story being read in a trade paperback while the store owner isn't looking. The language can get a little odd, but great first issue nonetheless. read if you like sci-fi or dystopia comics.
