    Doctor WHAT!!?

A new Dredd tale and, I admit, I was skeptical. With the previous poor 2 parter and the psychedelic art in this one, I wasn't sure what to think. However, I grew to love the art immediately  once I found the tale was a tongue in cheek parody of Doctor Who. Not only that but Dredd and a time travel menace seems cool to me. Thumbs up on that one. Looking forward to next week's.

This weeks Future Shocks reminded me too much of the previous week's Dredd tale, Futuristic aliens in a cook off. Wasn't great.

Sinister Dexter was epic. I don't say that lightly, I hated it a few months ago. Three tales seem to be weaving here. The corrupt gangster Tanenbaum's mayoral campaign, the two lad's attempt to deal with that, and a mad citizen's opposition to change. Along with that, we have the folks from the mighty city of Mangapore about to take over control of the underground and therefore the city of Dowlode, but this is in the background at the moment.

Dandridge remains interesting but it was Sláine, for me, that once again stole the show. The dirty, gritty, dark celtic and realistic art on thier own RULE. The story finishes up in this issue and Sláine himself brutally ends many misguided demon worshippers lives.

To sum up, great Prog this week.
