    Bruce Banner is dead! Can the Hulk cheat his own death?

    The Start Of The Quest! In order regain his kingdom from Warlord Krang, Namor must set out on a perilous journey to find the long-lost trident of Neptune.

    To Live Again! Shot dead by the Army, Dr Banner's lifeless body is carried off by Rick Jones who gambles that his life can be saved - if only he can force a transformation into the Hulk!

    Whenever a superhero dies at the end of an issue, and is brought back the very next issue, you’ve got to be a little skeptical. The old Republic movie serials were able to pull it off sometimes, but in the Silver Age, Marvel rarely was able to manage it.    You know that this isn’t going to be one of those times when you have a splash page in the Leader’s lair and there’s a life-sized Hulk statue that requires a text box reading, “Earth-Shaking Editor’s Note: In case you’re wondering, this ...
