    Part 1 "Banished To Outer Space"

    The General 'Thunderbolt' Ross' troops capture Rick Jones and tell him that the Hulk is the only one who can survive the tremendous G-Forces of "America's newest, most important missile. They convince Rick to lead the Hulk to the capsule so it can be tested. Little does Rick know, however, that the Army intends to send the Hulk on a one-way trip into the vast infinity of space!

    Part 2 The Origin of the Hulk!

    ..."As Rick Jones sits against the cold, dank wall, fighting desperately to keep from falling asleep, his thoughts go racing back... back to the beginning... back to the origin of the Hulk!

    Part 3 Will the Mighty Hulk be a Match for the Ringmaster

    The Ringmaster's Circus travels from town to town, hypnotizing audiences into a catatonic state and then robbing them and looting the town. The F.B.I. is onto them, but before they can bust them, Rick Jones - and the Hulk - end up attending a performance!

    Hulk literally flies(!) onto shelves this month with an astoundingly bland thump. You think, maybe Lee and Kirby would let The Hulk stay as he is for maybe a few issues before dumping the entire concept and beginning anew (almost.) From being the Hulk exclusively at night to now permanent and with the ability to fly (which will be changed to a super… very accurate form of leaping) it seems no surprise that fans couldn’t connect with the lumbering madman who—though penned as having a split person...

    This issue of The Incredible Hulk is a good entry point for anyone who missed the first two issues. Not only does it have one chapter of the ongoing Hulk saga that is capable of standing alone ('Banished to Outer Space'), it features a three page, 21 panel retelling of the Hulk's origin story, and it includes another all-new adventure introducing another long-running Marvel villain, The Ringmaster and his Circus of Crime.  Unfortunately, Stan Lee's writing continues to remain adequate at best, a...
