    Zod Is One of the few villains i've been wanting to check out in a very long time now, After Watching Man of Steel i was interested in the villain and found him to be cool. So Naturally i decided that reading upon his comic book counterpart would be a wise choice, and i really liked this version too, therefore it won't come off as a surprise that having greg pak write him would excite me, and after his decent start on darkseid i was really excited.     With both my favourite Superman villain in General Zod appearing in this story, as well as it being written by one of my favourite writers Greg Pak I was really looking forward to this. I was however also hoping that it was better than Pak's last villains month issue (Darkseid), which although interesting was slightly disappointing.PlotGrowing up watching his family die at the hands of a monster life seemed hard for Zod, but after being found by Zor-El, and Jor-El he would have a new life in Kry...

    There will be spoilers in this review so please make sure you read the issue first if you're planning to. I'm reading all the villain month issues so I can give the New Reader perspective. Most of what I know of Zod is from pop culture and not comics so it'll be interesting to see how he looks here. The Good: This issue's got a lot of good. It actually gives a good reason for Zod to act as violent and warmongering as he always seems to be and adds an interesting layer to his personal philosophy...
