    Daredevil triumphant 0

    The end of the Ikari arc finds Daredevil squaring off against both Ikari and Lady Bullseye as well as learning more about the serious events that led to Bullseye's current state as a super-villain criminal genius in a box. Although Mark Waid pulls a little bit of a fast one here as the issue has far less action that you'd suspect for the arc's conclusion, it does fill in some blanks and show off Daredevil out thinking his enemies leaving the question unanswered whether or not Daredevil could act...

    So we finally find out who's been tormenting DD and it all boils down to the final show down! Waid has been doing a great job of balancing drama and action. He builds suspense. We've been trying to figure out who's been torturing DD and now that we know Waid doesn't stop building things up. Just before the final battle there's some good foreshadowing. The villains know DD well so they've set traps to ruin him but DD is able to out smart them which is a relief when you read it! Waid is so good ev...
