Duane Swierczynski is the same guy who has been writing Birds from the beginning, so how did the series manage to go from pretty good to barely tolerable? I can’t answer that question, but I can say that this recent story arc has been anything but thrilling.     Birds Once Again Butchered 0

    So, the overall design for this cover isn't really any better than the bland originally solicited Molenaar cover, but there's just something about Trevor McCarthy's high energy line work and the super bright and energetic colors that make this cover still manage to work somehow. Katana looks especially awesome, I kinda wish McCarthy would be drawing her solo series now. Batgirl matches the balance with Katana, but Canary seems to be just pasted in there, and though she was pasted in apparently n...
