    Captain Nathaniel Adam volunteers for a dangerous experiment that will make him one of the most powerful heroes in the DC Universe! How much can man lose before he is no longer human?

    Captain Atom gets grounded for antics in the jet he was flying. He is not in a right place in his fife and gets convinced by Doctor Heinrich Megala to be a part of an experiment that turns him into Captain Atom. He later uses his powers to save his friend Pierce.
