It’s Supergirl’s first date on Earth – which means it’s time for a new villain to attack and Supergirl to figure out...she has new powers?

Supergirl hovers in space over Earth, contemplating if it will ever feel like her home. She gets back to Siobhan and surprises a naked Tom who's embarassed. She goes on a date with him for pizza whose tastes, as she's never eaten before, gives her an overdose of her powers. Before Tom can get her home, they are attacked by a policeman who transforms into some kind of robot. He and Supergirl until she uses her eyes to turn his suit off and nearly kill him. She takes Tom back to Siobhan and tells them she has to leave to find out who is behind these attacks against her.

This is an issue I don't have a lot of strong thoughts about. In fact, for a while now, Supergirl's been a series that just hasn't really brought out much in me. I enjoy it, sure, but I don't have a whole lot to reflect on usually. This cover's on a thin line between genericly bland and fairly interesting. The artwork is on the better side of Mahmud Asrar's work, and it was already generally very nice. The linework is nice and solid, here and there it feels almost like the amazing work of Rafael ...

Supergirl #11 ReviewOverview:Supergirl adjusts to life on Earth and fights a man in a nanotech suit. The Good:Supergirl is finally learning English!!! After elven issues of speaking only in Kryptonian she is finally learning English from Siobhan and it is great. Even though Siobhan can speak to Kara, it is nice to see her communicate with other people. The way it is executed here is perfect, even though she knows a few words, like hello and Tom, she still doesn’t know a thing about Earth customs ...
