Part two of ANTON ARCANE’S return, as his role in the mythology of THE ROT is revealed! Do NOT miss the final page of this issue!

Following last issue Abigail turns to run from the advancing Arcane and his legion of Un-Men. She fights some off with her shotgun but freezes when Arcane drags in Alec's body. He knocks Abby out and walks her away to the swamp. We are taken into the Green where the Parliament of Trees has saved Alec's consciousness and left his body. He tells the Parliament to wake him up. Back in the swamps Abby has woken up and escapes from Arcane's grip. Arcane grabs at Abby and takes with him a piece of flesh. Alec wakes up and begins to fight Arcane.

Arcane's Un-Men jump Alec but he grows spikes on his body and pierces through all of them. He challenges Arcane and they unleash their powers. Alec punches and slices Arcane but even though he is impressed by his newfound abilities, Arcane starts to gain the upper hand. Suddenly Abigail comes over and shoots him in the head with her shotgun. Arcane manages to escape into a portal into the Rot. Abigail makes a connection and sees into the Rot, she finds horrors and nightmares. When Alec advises that they should leave this portal they are approached by Buddy Baker and his family who tells Swamp Thing and Abby the need to enter together.

The return of Anton Arcane continues! 0

I'm trying a new style of review for this issue it'll be a lot like the Deadpool one except possibly a little longer I want to see how it goes and how people feel about it please tell me in the comments. As I said for the review of issue 10 I picked these up on a mere whim because I had extra cash and I love the current Swamp-thing series.PlotThis issue continues from the last with Swamp-thing surrounding Abby and preparing to capture her and bring her back to the rot. Alec has apparently been ki...

Mad Respect to Marco Rudy 0

I KNOW I'm going to be in the minority here, but dammit, this issue really just proved to me that I like Marco Rudy more than Yanick Paquette. And it's damn well time Rudy's getting some freaking respect in the industry, I mean, I fell in love with the dude's artwork the first time I read a comic he drew. But when I tried to find more stuff by him, I found he had very little out there. I was super disappointed, because at the time, I knew of literally NOBODY who did panel layouts as inventive an...

    Finally . . . Sort of 0

The Story So FarIssues #11 has Arcane taking Abigail away against her will. After taking a beating in last months issue we find that the Parliament has returned the favor and saved Swamp Thing from certain death. A very cool Green vs. Rot battle follows. We end with a scene that has been in the making for almost a year now.HitI love the art in Swamp Thing. It feels like the panels are almost grown as much as they are drawn. A lot of the panel shapes seem very organic and earthy. Arcane is down v...
