As the Bolts continue their escape through time, Songbird escapes for an island vacation. But in Tahiti, a mad scientist sets his sights on Melissa Gold. Will he dare to interrupt Songbird's nesting? Find out here!

Songbird is in Tahiti for vacation after being sent off on R&R mandated by F.A.C.T., the Federal Advisory Committee to Thunderbolts. While at a resort, she meets and falls for Kei, who runs a charter boat company. Kei takes Songbird on one of his boats to a nearby island where they spend the night. In the morning, Songbird is ambushed and awakens in captivity. She was operated on while unconscious and cannot use her powers. Kei set her up, and the mastermind behind her capture is Dr. Lemuel Dorcas.

Songbird is later awakened by Ferrig, a servant of Dr. Lorcas. Songbird uses the power of her voice to persuade Ferrig to release her (her weakened powers worked on Ferrig because he was compromised by a neuroleech). Songbird controls Lorcas’ sea creatures against him and exacts revenge on Kei. Songbird returns to Rykers Island (the temporary holding area for super-villains since the Raft was destroyed) in time to help Luke Cage to quell a riot.

AF Reviews: ThunderboltsThis was an issue I've been dreading for a while, you see, writer Jeff Parker teased us all a while back saying that there was a very "dark issue" for Songbird coming up. there was plenty of speculation among the fans that she would die. particularly since the character seems to have been sidelined lately. So here we have it, Songbird's "big death issue", and you want to know the best thing? She doesn't die! This story starts off nice and calm with Songbird on holiday and a...
