    I don't know what else to say about this series at this point which I haven't said before.  Coming off the last unexpectedly great issue, this one keeps the pace and tone going.  Granted this one is a little stronger towards the beginning, which can be a little problematic for the reader, but it still held up well in the end.  It would maybe betray the overall effect by going too much into the plot, but as in the last issue where Nathan finds some sympathy for the rat because they are both unwan...

    Slipping up through time 0

    Well, I've been enjoying Captain Atom these past 6 issue, and I enjoyed this one. But there are problems here, and they make for one of the weakest yet.First of all, the main problem is the art. I enjoyed it for the most part in past issues, the contrasts and colors and all that, but this issue was just bad. very bad. I can't tell if it's the fault of Freddie Williams II or the inker, but there's something wrong here, and it kinda took me out of the experience.Next, the cover flat out lies to yo...

    The Splitting of the Atom 0

    I liked this cover a whole lot more when I saw the original solicit. The breaking Captain Atom seemed so fragile, made of glass. But seeing it on the actual cover, the smoothness is lost a bit, and that completely negates the 'fragile glass' effect. Still, it wouldn't be a 'bad' cover if it didn't give away too much. Future Atom (I'm assuming that at least) doesn't even meet Present Atom until the last page.Mostly this issue is a fantastic character exploration. We don't actually learn all that ...
