    Loki breaks Juggernaut out of prison in Britain and transports him to New York City. Thor arrives on the scene to stop Juggernaut's destructive rampage. Thor is already in a weakened state and the Juggernaut is able to beat him. As he is about to deliver the killing blow, six heroes appear calling themselves the New Warriors and attack the Juggernaut.

    Beta Ray Bill and his ship, Skuttlebutt investigate a heavily armed spacecraft nearby. Bill is taken down with a psychic blast and taken prisoner aboard the enemy craft.
