    In my mind Supergirl is one of the biggest surprises to come out of the reboot.  Of course the character is quite popular and is a staple at DC but the series thus far has been doing well.  It is important to remember that the entire series to this point has taken place over what is maybe 60 minutes in real time (though there are flashbacks.)  When considering this it highlights just how good things are going in this series, despite its short time it has held my attention well over these issues....

    Lonely GIrl Trapped On An Alien World Called Earth 0

    The Good: Very nice cover. Even though the title fills it, there's still a fair amount of 'empty space.' Yes, it's Krypton exploding, but at the same time it's got a deep and haunting blankness to it that looks great, and evokes the feel that Supergirl is likely experiencing. There's some good very emotional scenes with Supergirl as she struggles to accept the truths she's been offered. The haunting wash of colors strongly emphasizes the strong emotions welling up inside her.While there are some...

    Synopsis: Refusing to believe that her home planet is destroyed, Kara searches for her ship to leave Earth. What's Good? Kara's still a bit stubborn. Instead of accepting that Krypton is destroyed and going with her cousin to come up with a reasonable plan, she decides to do things by herself. The story begins to shift into a new direction different from Supergirl's previous origins, as Kara gets her own version of Lex Luthor, Simon Tycho does a great job using this issue to have Kara test her p...
