There he is confronted by the mindaltering power of the former super-hero the Psi-Fi Man, whom Brother Eye considers one of its greatest threats. Meanwhile Sarge Steel and his Checkmate Elite, under orders from Max Lord, begin their hunt for O.M.A.C.

    I think you could use a ride 0

    After taking a couple of issues to find its footing, the series finally starts to pick up a bit of steam here.  The difference is not really so much the characters or the context, but rather as O.M.A.C. smashes and destroys his way through all the panels, at least here he is met with a villain interested in doing more than trading blows (Psi-Fi Man).  Instead this villain is more in lines with a classic adversary to an powerful behemoth, he provides a mental challenge instead of simply a physica...

    Ok, My Attention's Consistent 0

    The Good: I really feel bad for Kevin. Brother Eye's just dragging him around by the nose, and Kevin's barely comprehending what's going on still. Brother Eye's actually a pretty great manipulator. There were some twists and turns e dragged Kevin through at the beginning that I did not see coming. The strict and standard panel layout is working pretty well for this series actually. It adds to the throwback feel that this series is going for. It may not be the most interesting layout, but it work...
