    FLASH FACT: The death toll rises as Deathstroke's journey nears its end. But when he finds his daughter, he also finds something else – something he could never have anticipated… 
     
    When a mysterious metahuman named Jenny Blitz saves The Ravager and its crew from a fleet of enemy ships, Deathstroke takes her aboard. As the crew learns of their captain’s plans of splitting the treasure they’re looking for with Jenny, they decide to break out into mutiny. While Deathstroke and Jenny fight for their lives and control of The Ravager, they’ll also have to figure out how to get Deathstroke’s daughter, Rose, back from the clutches of The Caretaker. But when Jenny reveals more about her origins, Deathstroke realizes that he may have just found himself the perfect pawn to play in the lethal battle against his enemy.

    Probably best not to tell them their world's about to end 0

    WARNING: Possible spoilers.  You have been warned.  One of the better tie-ins of Flashpoint concludes with a solid end, which sees Deathstroke show how he's a badass no matter what reality it is, and him also get the kind of ending that his mainstream counterpart probably never will receive.  And it is that good ending that makes the overall end of Flashpoint that much more tragic.  But I'm straying dangerously close to spoiling things, assuming I haven't already.  Suffice to say, its a great re...

    Average ending to a great concept 0

    The first "Flashpoint Deathstroke" issue shocked me with it's interesting premise and creative flare. It went on to be my surprise Pick of the Week. While the second issue wasn't as solid it still moved the story along and was satisfying. In the third and final issue, writer Jimmy Palmiotti wraps up his story with an angle that's perfectly appropriate for a pirate book...mutiny. And while the book delivers some entertaining moments, it's easily the weaker of the three books.  I suppose Deathstr...

    Flashpoint Deathstroke Curse of the Ravager #3 0

    Part of my interest in the Flashpoint minis from the outset was how the various storylines were going to conclude, especially considering they may portend major ramifications for the DCNU next month. Was the stratagem all along to utilize them as essential lead-ins for the relaunch or just ancillary stand-alones solely for the purpose of generating more revenue? If executed properly either approach can be gratifying, however without some glimpse into the future, should we ultimately care? That ...
