    It's never been a more dangerous time to be a mutant. Even with their numbers at a record low, the world refuses to trust mutantkind...and after a mutant-triggered international incident, anti-mutant hatred hits new heights. Of course it's at this moment, when the mutant race needs most to stand together, that a split begins that will tear apart the very foundation of the X-Men.

    Ditch the Kids, Jason Aaron. 0

    The schism between Cyclops and Wolverine really starts to take shape this issue, but distracting from that is the development of Jason Aaron's new Hellfire Club which feels completely out of place in this story. This results in a story that feels at odds with itself. Part of it is an intelligent and believable handling of the X-Men's situation in the world while the other part involves a completely ridiculous and unbelievable new team of villains.  As he did for the most part last issue, Aaron c...

    Genius is never appreciated in its own time 0

    This issue picks right off from the previous issue and runs pretty much the same way. There is no fighting but we know the X-men are scattered around the globe and dealing with various Sentinel programs. There is even mention of various other superheroes such as Iron Man and Thor in the midst of this. Some of the dialogue felt overly political and a tad bit unnecessary.     Schism starts to pick up the pace, but it's still a slow one 0

    After the telepathic attack on the UN by Quentin ' Kid Omega' Quire, the world leaders sentinels gather their sentinel troops. But when their robot start malfunctioning and attacking humans, the X-men go out to save a world which hates and fears them.
