Mirth opens a portal into The Styx Casino and Kevin Matchstick goes inside. He faces down several of the enemies he's already familiar with, including an entire tribe of Red Caps, and he soundly defeats Cromm Cruich. In the end, the thing Kevin must defeat, the one challenge that he must overcome is his own doubts and fears. Kevin gets through this final challenge and makes it to the lair of the Umbra Sprite, only to find that he's already dead, done in by an angry and maimed Emil Grackleflint. With the death of the Umbra Sprite, the Styx Casino begins coming apart at the seams. Kevin escapes and reunites with Mirth. The two realize that with the fall of The Styx, all of the evil creatures that The Umbra Sprite summoned have been released into the world. With a new mission, and the hero finally discovered, Kevin and Mirth drive off.
