    Teen Titans #89

Teen Titans » Teen Titans #89 - Bruised Egos released by DC Comics on January 1, 2011.

    Short summary describing this issue.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

Heads up, Teen Titans! There's a new hero in town, and while Damian might not want to join you, he's more than happy to lead you! There should always be a Robin on the team, but if Damian is their only available option, maybe they'll pass on having a Boy Wonder. Hopefully he'll be able to help against the terrible menace of the rising villain, Headcase!

T-E-E-N, T-I-T-A-N-S, Teen Titans, Let's GOOOOO! Sorry, I really didn't know how else to start this review off. I mean, the theme is just so darn catchy and as I read this issue it kept popping into my head. This is a good sign though, because it means that as I read this comic it feels right. It feels like Teen Titans should feel. Lots of energy, lots of clashing characters, lots of fun. And if nothing else, J.T. Krul is making the Teen Titans fun again.   The issue opens with Barney, the ...

Damian and the Teen Titans (JOY) 0

This is my first review, so here it goes. Warning as their might be a few spoilers… As you may already know, Damian Wayne - the current Robin - is joining the Teen Titans. However, things don’t go according to plan, and it is very entertaining to read. I love how the team interacts together like friends again instead of arguing. The Good: Damian. Bringing him in was a genius move. It allows for some excellent exploration of his character, and a whole big mess for the Teen Titans. The situations he causes are almost juvenile in their simplicity and it's perfect. And a lot of the taunts are brilliant. And the way different characters push each other's buttons, J.T. Krul really knows how to write the Teen Titans as the strangely knit group they are with the best chaotic clockwork of emotions playing off each other. The way...
