    A SHADOWLAND TIE-IN.

Hell's Kitchen has exploded into rioting, looting, and all-out chaos, and Daredevil is responsible for it all. As the leader of the Hand and controller of Hell's Kitchen, Matt Murdock knows that conquest of New York is within his grasp. But one of his oldest friends, though, goes to Shadowland to make one last ATTEMPT to save the Man Without Fear from walking the path from which there is no turning back.

Mayor J. Jonah Jameson orders SWAT teams into Hell’s Kitchen to quell the rioting. Dakota North is still looking for Foggy Nelson after being separated in the chaos. North meets up with Detective Kurtz, who thinks something big is about to happen since all the Hand ninjas have retreated back to the main castle. North resumes her search for Becky Blake, who lives in the thick of the rioting. Just as Blake realizes that her building has caught fire, North appears to help her leave.

Meanwhile, Foggy reaches the main Shadowland castle entrance and decides to scale the castle to try and talk to Daredevil. He reaches the tower only to be caught by White Tiger. She brings Foggy to Daredevil’s main chamber, which is strewn with unconscious heroes, and prepares to kill him. Daredevil stops her, saying he “wants the pleasure” of killing Foggy himself.

This isn´t a pretty book. Daredevil always have been surrounded by grief, pain and sorrow, but definitely he has reached the bottom (and didn´t even realized it). But this isn´t a book about Daredevil either. Sure, it´s his tittle, he´s on the cover and appears in the last page, but that´s not what I´m talking about. When I say that this book isn´t about Daredevil, I´m actually making the assumption that Matt Murdock as we´ve known are no more: there is no more Daredevil. Since issue # 501, when...

    Review: Daredevil #511 0

While Becky Blake and Dakota North try to survive the riots Shadowland's causing, Foggy Nelson decides to go straight to the source and confront DD in his lair. The Good I'm seriously digging de la Torre's art in this issue. The work impressively achieves urban grit and a rough charcoal texture with a clarity and finesse in a way I've rarely seen artists in this style capture. Diggle does a great job, also, of establishing the visceral, messy, sometimes-awkward realities that these normal human...
