    As an army of vampires descends on San Francisco, the X-Men find themselves in dire straights. The good news is that they may have just discovered a means for stemming the invasion. The bad news? What they need is in the clutches of the vampires themselves. Luckily, the X-Men have two thieves in their employ that may just be able pull off such a heist.     As a self-proclaimed Gambit and Storm fan, I was expecting alot out of this one-shot, but ultimately it ended up failing, epicly. The story starts off with our favorite duo heading towards a vampire island in order to retrieve the body of Dracula, however on there journey they stumble across many obstacles which make there journey quite difficult. Luckily they are aided by Dracula's own son Janus.  The concept of the story was actually a good one, and had alot of potential, but it didn't live up...

    Continuing the Curse of the Mutants, aka Vampire vs Mutants story arc comes this one shot featuring Storm and Gambit as they attempt to locate the body of Dracula so that the X-men may resurrect him in order to stop the vampire nation led by Dracula's son. Sound ridiculous? Thats because it pretty much is.Storm and Gambit are longtime X-men members and they themselves have a history of teaming up and friendship on account of them both being raised as theives.On this premise they are selected to ...

    X-Men: Curse of the Mutants- Storm & Gambit One-Shot 0

    See, no offense to the lovely team behind X-Men, but after reading this book, I feel like this is the team that should be working on X-Men. Never in my life have I wanted for there to be more with a certain team than I did here. From the choice of characters that you never see paired together but have a great history all the way to the way the book made me look at the entire vampire war concept in a new light, this book succeeded in ways I can only hope X-Men can follow up on.   The issue opens...
