    In a flashback from the explosion a few issues earlier Captain Atom travels through time due to that explosion. While in regular time the Newly re-formed Justice League International makes plans to stop Maxwell Lord. Also, there is a Captain Atom Origin Story in the beginning of the issue.

    I think I should probably mention first off that this is the first comic from this series that I've read, and I picked it up because I was a fan of these characters back in the 90s. This issue felt like a cross between Back to the Future part 2, Quantum Leap, the Watchmen, and a bit of Kingdom Come.  There was a time I thought that time travel was a bit overdone and slightly gimmicky, but I don't think you can read a Captain Atom story and expect not to come across some time hopping.  If y...

         Speedy review:  I will start out by saying that I truly love this series!  Wow, yep Winick haters I said it!   Once again we have a book that really gives you what you needed when you needed it.  Even if you didn't know that you needed.  We always want to know what happens if our heroes fail and yep we see the consequences of that possible outcome.  I was actually shocked by the twist here.  Not by the cameo but by the "when" we were.   We always want to know the motivation behind our c...
