    What is Known...
After a stressful day at work, precog detective Owen Young returns home. That night he has a vision of a bank robery. The next day the police arrest the robbers, but not before the driver, Jerry Farrell, discovers that Owen is a telepath (it is illegal for telepaths to be police officers). Before Farrell can reveal this, Owen's partner, John Meyer knocks him unconscious.
Owen and his friends, including Detective Jodi Asamori-Lane, decide to make a deal, offering Farrell his freedom in exchange for his silence. Farrell, however, intends to reveal the secret and sue Owen and the Denver Police Department.  Beck Scotney, Owen's lieutenant, sends him home where he reveals his secret to his girlfriend, Dani de Angelis. Dani does not handle the news well. Unsure of wheter her feelings for Owen are real or a telepathic fabrication, she leaves him. Owen spends the evening drowning his sorrows.
The next morning, John arrives with a plan that just may save them - but damn them at the same time...
