    Part 1 of the 2-part "Jack Frost," featuring guest art by FABLES' Steve Leialoha. Retrieval vans are scouring the hills and valleys of Idaho and Montana, scooping up escaped Fables and taking them back to captivity in the Golden Boughs retirement village. So far Jack has eluded them, but how long can he hold out? The secret might lie in one of his past misadventures – when he was none other than Jack Frost.

    Don't miss this special 2-part story featuring Jack's encounters with the illustrious Snow Queen, beautifully illustrated by FABLES veteran inker and noted artist Steve Leialoha. Also featured: the left side of an exquisite diptych cover by three-time winner of the Eisner Award for best painter, James Jean.
