    Wherein the forces of the Emperor decide upon a ten-year war on the Mundy World with the Four Plagues: Pestilence, Fire, Winter, and Famine. A traitor is sent from the War Council to Fabletown as a peace envoy, and Bigby asks a fast rabbit for help training the cubs how to hunt.

    Back-up Story:

    A porcupine convinces a human maiden to kiss him, thereby breaking an evil witch's spell.

    One of the greatest arc stories yet writen by Bill in the Fables universe, with so much structure, different characters' views, textures in the narrative, a variety of elements such as characters' feelings, ambients, characters' evolution and shift of paths, something extraordinary indeed that isn't only concerned with the actual plot, plowing it's seeds for the next stories to come, that's definitely a great issue of this fantastic series, something unique and very rare in the industry nowadays...

    Wow, the Snow Queen lays down a plan to destroy the Mundy world, and it seems like it could at least be partially effective. It's not so much the plan how ever, but the sheer joy she takes in the making of the plan. Not too mention that Gepetto, so lovable in the story seems to take it in with relish. The other parts of the story, the fact that Red Riding Hood has a crush on Flycatcher, who because he is nervous about their date, has reverted back to frog form, that is treated with the proper s...
