As Tim Drakes class has been kidnapped, Bruce Wayne makes a public statement about paying a ransom for the safe return of his son, Tim Drake. Tim, meanwhile has escaped the captors and is now hiding above the hostage takers as Robin, watching as Dodge tries to do something with the terrorists. Tim begins to remember his early training from Batman, using it to his advantage. As Dodge loses his upper hand, Tim is forced to intervene and in the process nearly gets killed. Dodge begins to question him on why he can't help to which Robin replies because you didn't have Batman as your teacher! Dodge eventually gets shot in his belt and as a result is now in a coma. Bruce tries to comfort Tim but to seemingly no avail.
