    Overview

    In WEEK 14, with art by Dale Eaglesham & Art Thibert, Steel faces a turning point, and Montoya and the Question go international! Plus, the origin of Steel by Waid and Jon Bogdanove!

    Week 14, Day 6.

    Kahndaq.

    Renee Montoya and Question reach Kahndaq in their search for Intergang. They find Kahndaq a peaceful and jubilant place, worshipping Black Adam and Isis.

    Metropolis. The Steelworks.

    Doctor Avasti tries to get through to a very upset Steel. Feeling responsible for Natasha's desertion, Steel is creating a new armour for his niece, but it is too little, too late. Steel, lamenting that he drove his niece to Lex Luthor, wonders if he can ever get her back.

    Home of Will Magnus.

    Magnus is trying to get one of his Metal Men, Mercury, to work with no success. Two government agents want to buy the technology of the Metal Men as prototypes for new weapons, but Magnus refuses to sell his creations.

    Haven.

    Will Magnus goes to visit his friend, T.O. Morrow, but finds that he, like so many other scientists, has disappeared. A letter is left addressed to Magnus, which gives him the machine code for Morrow's artifical souls.

    Week 14, Day 7.

    Kahndaq.

    Question and Renee find out that there is a Ridge-Ferrick holding in the temple district of Shiruta, the capital city of Kahndaq. They manage to find it, but it's full of dead bodies and blood. Question figures that someone didn't want these people to talk to him and Renee, and so killed them. Renee finds boxes and boxes of rat poison on the floor and wonders about their significance.

    As they exit the building, Renee and Question find they're surrounded by Kahndaqi police and military and arrested.

    Week 14, Day 7.

    Will Magnus manages to get Mercury working.

    A lovely thought 0

    Again focusing on only two of the ongoing plots in the series, here the story focuses on first John Henry as the advanced state of his condition is revealed as well as what he feels about Natasha.  The other part of the story and what took up most of the issue was the Renee/Vic storyline which now finds them in Kahndaq on the trail of Intergang.  At this point this is the series' best accomplishment as I felt that Renee started off being portrayed in a pretty weak manner but now with Vic to play...
